Dog Agility Classes
Our agility classes are suitable for those that want to compete as well as for those that just want to have fun with their dog. Our introduction class is a great place to start if you just want to see what all the hype is about. Our introductory techniques are such that we keep the experience light and fun while still maintaining the integrity of the process for those that want to go on to compete in the sport.
Kari Hammargren is our highly skilled agility instructor with many titles and championships on her personal dogs. Her fun personality and "easy to understand" teaching style have created a devout following of students. Whether you are just starting out or a competitor yourself, you will find a wealth of information in Kari's classes.
Introduction to Agility This incredibly fun class introduces dogs and owners to all the equipment and obstacles used on an agility course. You gain higher off-leash control while the dog has a blast going over jumps and hurdles, scaling A-frames, weaving through poles, going through tunnels and much more! You can learn for fun, or go on to compete.
Phase II Agility Your dog knows the obstacles, now let's work on handling techniques and running courses! Prerequisite: Introduction to Agility or instructor approval.
Drop-In Agility Practice For dogs and owners that are familiar and comfortable with the equipment and their use, but just need to practice. Equipment will be available without instruction. Dates subject to change - please call to confirm.
