Through an individual behavior consultation you can have the undivided attention of these professionals to help you achieve your goals. Corrective programs are tailored for your individual pet's situation.

Problem behavior counseling services are available for dog, cat, and bird behavior problems.

The dog, cat and bird behavior consultation service at Positive Approach Dog Training has helped well over 1,000 problematic animals achieve success and overcome a myriad of problems including:

• aggression
• fighting
• separation anxiety
• fearful or timid behavior
• confidence problems
• elimination problems
• over-excitability
• destruction, and much more.

Dog, cat and bird behavior consultations are available at our office, in your home, or in some cases by telephone.

Fees are based on a one-hour minimum and then billed in 15 minute increments.

Most initial consultations will last between one and two hours. Fees include travel time and phone or e-mail follow-up help.

In order to more effectively utilize the consultation period, clients are asked to complete and submit a history form prior to their appointment. When filling out the form, please be as detailed and expansive as possible. This will help to more accurately determine a treatment plan for your pet. Describe the problem in detail and give many examples of specific occurrences.

If your problem is with your dog it is highly recommended (but not required) that you attend our behavioral seminar prior to your consultation appointment. By attending this lecture you could very well reduce the amount of time needed for the consult and therefore reduce the time for which you are billed. In order to secure an appointment time you must pre-purchase the first hour of the consult. Most consultations will last between 1 1/2 and two hours. Payment for this additional time is required at the time of service. We require two business day notification of any changes or cancellations. Changes or cancellations made without sufficient notice will result in forfeiture of the pre-purchased hour.
